The location was perfect for me, with easy access to a stunning river walk and the West Bund area. And let me tell you, the hotel itself was absolutely luxurious. The staff were so friendly and the lobby was incredible - spacious, with large windows overlooking a beautiful garden. I could easily spend all day there, working and relaxing. The design of the hotel was really cool and stylish, with a lot of thought put into comfort and functionality. My single room was like a cozy little pod, perfect for solo travelers like myself. The shared external bathrooms were always spotlessly clean, and I never had to wait to use one. I was beyond impressed with this place.
I highly recommend this hotel to all my family and friends. It's a hidden gem that offers enhanced comfort, quality service, and a stylish atmosphere.

The cafe served good coffee and the staff was super helpful, speaking English very well. the designer-like rooms were cozy and clean.
The location was far from ideal, making it difficult to get around. the temperature in the rooms was also uncomfortably high and impossible to control, making it tough to get ready for chilly outdoor weather.

Great Location, Friendly Staff, Artistic Design
The location of this hotel was perfect, I could easily walk to all the nearby art museums and explore the local culture. The staff were very friendly and always willing to help out with recommendations. I also loved the artistic design of the hotel, which made my stay feel unique and memorable.
The sound insulation in the hotel was quite poor, and I could hear noise from the street, which made sleeping difficult. there were limited amenities in the hotel which was a little disappointing, as I expected more from my stay.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The design of the rooms is very stylish and comfortable, with cute little individual pods that are perfect for solo travelers like myself. The shared external bathrooms were always immaculate and I never had to wait to use one. The location is in an artsy area, not too far from historic downtown, and the staff were super friendly. I also loved that they had a lot of good snacks and drinks in the room for free.
Didn't dislike anything about the hotel.

The design of Urside Hotel Shanghai The Bund is unique and excellent, with an industrial style that adds character. The lobby is a versatile space, serving as a reception, cafe, restaurant, and co-work space. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, reflecting the overall cool and modern vibe of the hotel. The food in the lobby bar is delicious, and the coffee is great. the hotel provides a perfect showcase of how to transform an Expo exhibition warehouse into a charming and stylish hotel experience.
The hotel's location may not be in the heart of the action, but it offers a peaceful retreat near the river, away from the crowds. The walk to the nearest metro station may be a little longer, but it rewards you with interesting buildings from the EXPO.
